Today was filled with fun all day. The kids did an encore performance for their dad when he got home from work in the morning so he could hear their new songs from their band. Nolan & Madison played with their Disney themed model clay kit. Nolan made a pirate ship and Madison made a princess castle. Both of them started a notebook to keep all of the songs and poems that they are writing. In the afternoon we had a play date with Madison's best friend Brooke and her mom Melinda. The girls played with their babies while Nolan rode his scooter. Nolan decided to put on a performance for us with the new song that he wrote today (Madison wrote a song too but did not want to sing) and one of his oldies "Nothing to do". He also did a comedy act for us...between Jason and Nolan we couldn't stop laughing! After playing at the park for three hours we came home to eat dinner then played Disney Scene It. What a great day! It is so great being home with them right now instead of working so I can enjoy moments like this with them. Tomorrow we are going over to Brooke's house so the kids can play in the pool and the girls can play barbies together.
