Cousin Sleepover/Date Night!

Tonight the kids went over to their cousin's house for a sleepover to celebrate their cousin Josephine's birthday. They had so much fun together! Jason and I went out to dinner and saw the movie House Bunny. It was such a nice treat for us to have a date night together. We are so thankful that Theone and Turner took our kids for a couple days and the kids had such a great time together.

CRAZY STORM

Wow...last night was a crazy storm here with hail, rain, lighting like we've never seen before, and STRONG wind ...and the kids slept through all of it last night too! Uh-oh it looks like we might get another storm tonight...it is raining. Hopefully it will not be as bad as last night.

New haircuts...

Today the kids and Jason got new haircuts. Madison wanted her hair short again so she got over 4 inches taken off. All of them look so cute with their new hairdos. The bottom picture is our gecko "geek" that is now living inside our house. He has been living outside our house for a few months now with the other two geckos but has decided to live inside for now. They are so darn cute! "Geek" decided to move into Madison's room.

Auction...

Today, Jason and the kids went with me to an auction for my work. My work had 3 properties going to auction. The kids and Jason helped both of my bosses pass out postcards to tell people about our company since we specialize in Foreclosure/Probate properties (my boss gave the kids $6 for helping). Along with the kids and Jason this was my first time going to an auction. It was interesting and a great learning experience watching all of the activity going on all day.

Fun Day of Swimming with Friends!

Today we went swimming and had a BBQ with our friends Darrin, Angie, and Stone at their house. We had so much fun swimming with the kids and hanging out with them. The kids always have so much fun together and the adults too! We can't wait to get together with them again soon.

First Day of School!

Today was the first day of school. The kids were so excited...they woke up before we did and just waited for us to wake up. Nolan is in the 4th grade this year and his teacher's name is Ms. Walker. Madison is in the 2nd grade this year and her teacher's name is Mrs. Light. They are so excited about their new teachers and seeing all of their school friends again. They can't wait to go back to school again tomorrow...we just can't believe how fast the summer flew and how big they are getting...they need to stop growing up.

Swimming Playdate

Today the kids and I went over to their friend's house Brooke for dinner and swimming after Jason went to work. We had fun in the pool playing basketball. What a great time we had over at their house!

Summer School is over...

Yesterday was the last day of summer school for the kids. They had a carnival for them...they had fun eating hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, playing games and so much more. They are so excited for Thursday since that is the first day of school. Today we enjoyed hanging out at home together until Jason had to work. We tried to take a family picture of all of us since one person is always missing from the picture.
