MS Night at the Diamondbacks Game!

Today we went to MS Night at the Diamondbacks game. We got to the game a few hours early so the kids could meet the players. The kids hung out with the players in their dugout during their practice. Jason and I weren't allowed to go with them even though we tried our hardest to convince them we were kids too. Nolan got a few autographs from players on his baseball and foam finger. Madison was so awe struck that she forgot to ask them to sign her notebook. It was so amazing to watch the face expression on the kids while they were watching the players and meeting them. The kids also signed the team's baseball bat. We went to the game with our friends Darrin, Angie and Stone. It was great because will call messed up and gave our friends the wrong tickets so all of us got upgraded seats...We had such a great time at the game together. We can't wait until baseball season starts again next year.

Surprise for the kids

Today we got great news for the kids. The MS Society in Arizona called us to tell us that the kids were picked to go on the field during practice with the Arizona Diamondbacks before the baseball game for MS Night at the D-Backs game. As you can tell by the pictures they were very excited. We can't wait for the game on Saturday!

Fun weekend

Yesterday we spent most of the day at our friend Megan's house hanging out at the pool and the kids played Wii. It was so great spending time with her...we missed her so much. Today we took the kids to The Good Egg for brunch. We ran some errands and bought the kids their Halloween costumes. They are so excited! We watched the movie "Akeela and the Bee" with the kids. That was such a great movie. The rest of the day was spent relaxing...I love lazy Sundays!

Our 10th Wedding Anniversary!

This weekend we celebrated our 10th anniversary...time has flown by so fast. I just can't believe that we were married 10 years ago today. The kids made such great gifts for us. Madison made me a journal so I had something to write in and Nolan made us a stool and a tub of love bin so we have something to hold the things we love in it. Jason got me a pink Nano iPod so I could listen to my music in the car etc. I love it so much! We spent the weekend where Jason proposed to me 11 years ago...The Pointe at Tapatio Resort. We are so grateful and thankful that Jason's brother and sister (uncle & cousins too) took the kids for the weekend so we could enjoy a mini vacation together. Before our arrival to the hotel they delivered chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our room. We went to Black Angus for dinner...yum. Jason convinced the hotel to open "The Falls" (where he proposed 11 years ago) for us after dinner since they were already closed. It was so special for the two of us to be there again together. Jason got on one knee again (with my ring he got me for my 30th) and asked me to marry him again...it was so sweet and memorable. The rest of the weekend we spent relaxing by the pool, ordered room service twice, and enjoying our quality time together. It was such a memorable weekend! Thank you...Jeff, Theone, Turner, & the kids for watching Madison and Nolan for us (hope you are feeling better Jean). They had so much fun with you!

Date night with mom

Today after school Madison went to her friend Taylor's house for a sleepover. Jason had to work so Nolan and I had a date night together. I took him to Islands for dinner so we could have some yummy burgers. Afterwards we went to Michael's Craft Store to find something to make together. Nolan made a haunted house out of foam...we had so much fun together!

Dinner with Friends

Tonight all of us got together for Jeff's last night in AZ. We went over to our friend Mark and Christal's house for dinner. The kids love spending time with their son Jacob. Plus we got to spend another night with Jeff before he went back to Oregon. Unfortunately, Jason had to work so he was not able to go there with us. We already miss Jeff and can't wait to see him again soon!
