Happy Halloween!

Tonight we went over to Jason's parents house to take the kids trick or treating with their cousins/aunt/uncles. The kids were so glad that their dad had Halloween off this year...he had to work the last three years. We decided to dress up with the kids this year since we has our costumes from the party we went to...the kids loved that we dressed up with them. I think the kids had more fun passing out the candy than getting their own candy. The kids had a sleepover with their cousins and had a blast! Jason and I went to dinner then relaxed at home.

Halloween Party

Tonight Jason and I went a Halloween party at a friend's parents house. We were excited that the both of us were able to go this year since Jason always has to work the night of the party. Jason went as an 80's Rocker and I went as an 80's pop star or whatever you want to call it. We had lots of fun dressing up this year. The kids loved that we both dressed up this year. The party was so much fun and we were very thankful that Jeff watched the kids for us that night. The kids had a blast with their uncle as usual while we were at the party.

Granny B's Visit

Tonight we went to dinner with Granny B at the Elephant Bar since she was here for a visit from Cali. The kids always love seeing their Granny B. After dinner she took all of us to Barnes and Noble to get some new books. It was great to see her...we hope to see her again soon.

Megan's House

Tonight we went over to Megan's house to spend some time with her and our friend Stanley. The kids (and Jason too) played Wii which they love doing. We had a great time!

Our little performers...

Nolan and Madison are always performing for us. Today they decided to have their rock band for us and dress up for the occasion. They are always doing stuff to make us laugh and smile.

Watch out Hollywood here comes Nolan!

Today Nolan was in a play at his school. Their school was given a grant to work with Childsplay for the last couple months with the kids in grades 4th through 8th grade. The amazing thing about this play is the fact that the kids were the ones that wrote the whole play themselves. The theme for the different mini plays were the presidential elections and debates coming up but in the view of the kid's eyes. Nolan was the "press" in his play. His play took place in a Circle K convenient store. People saw the person running for president in the store getting a slurpee so they called the press...hard to explain how it all went down since so much of it was also done as they went along too. It was such a kick to watch the play. Nolan is really good at entertaining people and loves doing it. He would like to take some classes at Childsplay and see where it takes him...so who knows what the future holds for him.
