Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day! Today we had fun making cookies with Maddie's easy bake oven. For dinner we had BBQ ribs that cooked all night in the crockpot...yummy! It was a relaxing holiday with the family.

Lazy Sunday

Today was a nice lazy Sunday...we went to our favorite restaurant The Good Egg for breakfast/brunch. I love days like this with the family!

Memorial BBQ

Today we had fun at the Garrity's annual Memorial Day pool party. Nolan is getting better and better about swimming in the pool...yay! Maddie had fun with her girlfriends in the pool plus she had a sleepover at Megan's house with McKenna that night. What a great day for all of us!

Schools out for summer!

Today was the last day of school for the kids. We can't believe how fast this school year went. Next year Nolan is going to be in 5th grade and Madison will be in 3rd grade. To celebrate the last day of school we took the kids to Islands for dinner after Madison's dance class. We are so proud of them! Here's to another great year...now comes a fun filled summer for them with their dad part of the week for summer school. Yay Jason!

End of the year school show

It was the end of the year school show for the kids at school. The theme this year was through the different eras of music. Nolan's class had the 1960's-they danced and sang to "Downtown" by Petula Clark...he was a natural on that stage. Madison's class had the 1990's-they danced to "The Macarena"...she was adorable up there. It was a great show...they had the African drummers there again this year along with the dancers. This was Nolan's last pageant at the school since he is going into 5th grade and will be in Middle School next year at his school...wowser!

The Zoo...hummer limos...silliness...and hair rollers oh my!

Another big day today for the kids. Madison went to the zoo with her friend Brooke. Today Madison got picked up in a hummer limo for her friend Amanda's 10th birthday party. She had a blast in the limo listening to Hannah Montana etc. with her friends. We hope to get some pictures from the mom soon to show everyone. While Maddie was at her birthday party Nolan and I went to Michael's to get some crafts to make together. We had fun being silly in the store with hats and boas. When Madison got home from the birthday party mom had to test the new rollers to make sure they curl her hair for the recital...mom doesn't curl hair with a curling iron...the curls turned out perfect! What a fun day for the kids!

Day of sleepovers...new bed

Today we bought Madison her new bed at Ashley Furniture (Thank you Nana Jean & Papa Mike)...she can't wait until it is delivered on June 5th. Nolan had a sleepover with his best friend Alex for his birthday party. Maddie went over to her best friend Brooke's house to go swimming and ended up having a sleepover at her house. Jason had to work so I had the night to myself...it was very nice...I went to bed early and got some much needed sleep! The kids had a blast at their sleepovers.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's day to all of the moms out there! We hope you had a fabulous day. Today the kids and Jason took me to one of my favorite place The Good Egg for breakfast. The kids and I enjoyed a lazy day just hanging out together. Since Jason had to work he had to sleep all day. My Mother's Day present from Jason and the kids was an edible arrangement with chocolate covered strawberries & apples and lots of other yummy fruit. It was a great day!

Dancing queen

Our little dancing queen got her outfit for her dance recital coming up in June for her jazz class she has been taking since January
(thank you Grandma Shirley & Papa John). Her class is dancing to a song from High School Musical 3. She can't wait to be up on the stage soon...we can't wait to see her too. Once she has her recital we will post photos...more to come soon...stay tuned.

Moving day

Today we finally moved out of our rental house...it was a bittersweet goodbye, but we are glad to be in our new place until we are ready to buy a house of our own. The kids love the new apartment so much because we have a dance studio, movie theater, basketball & tennis courts, pool & spas and so much more! Right now we are just getting ourselves settled into the new place.

It has been a crazy year...but good!
