The kids are happy to have their daddy home tonight since he has been working so much lately. Tonight was pretty low key. We watched the Diamondbacks game (they won!) against the Rockies and ate dinner. I found a way to get the kids to eat anything new or things they told me that they did not like. Now they will pretty much eat anything I have them try with this secret ingredient (that's what they call it) Butt Rub Story. It may just be because the name always makes them laugh, but at least I can get them to eat zucchini now and other foods. We'll try squash next week. The slogan for them is "A Little Butt Rub Makes Everything Better".
On a side note. I was pulling up the website for our newspaper this afternoon and could not believe what the highlight news story was for the day, "Krispy Kreme doughnuts back in the Valley." They were saying that people waited in line for over two hours just to get a doughnut. Some people even camped out the day before. The doughnuts are really good but come on folks, aren't there more important news stories out there in Arizona than this one? We have always liked their doughnuts but I won't travel 45 minutes to eat them or wait in line. Now everyone else in my house is a whole other story.
